In many bodywork paradigms of "healing the client", or "giving Energy", we may be susceptible to burn-out and fatigue because we may be abandoning ourselves, when we reach-out to help. We may also inadvertently create situations of client dependency, based on the assumption that WE know what is best for the client, reinforcing the notion that healing occurs from an outside source.

By approaching our clients in deep presence, we create a kind of subtle energy blueprint, inviting our clients to begin gentle conscious interaction with their own sensations and with themselves.
